Artist Project

In my ongoing exploration of windows as both metaphor and medium, this new series expands the scope of perspective, from the intimate familiarity of home to transient, yet emotionally resonant spaces like schools and airports. Previously, I focused on the domestic: doors and windows within my living environment. This time, I extend that gaze outward, documenting places I’ve passed through, lived in, or left behind.

Windows are not only passages for looking out, but also tools for anchoring the self, each frame capturing a moment of belonging within flux. The act of looking outward paradoxically affirms where I stand. Each painting holds a quiet tension: the viewer’s gaze is drawn beyond the windowpane, yet the surrounding interior insists on presence.

Through acrylics, repetition, and spatial framing, I navigate themes of displacement, memory, and emotional grounding. The window remains a threshold between inner and outer worlds, past and present, movement and stillness.
