TOAF

Here is a series of works, "The Illumination," that I made when I participated in the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair. It is said that "the eyes are the windows of the soul," but in my opinion, every window in this world is a bridge between the subject and the object, between the inner and the outer world, between the self and the universe. This connection is dynamic and changing, and its result is personal and subjective.

My works are an expression of such personal and subjective emotions.

The theme of windows is an extension of the inspiration from my work in high school. I like to use my paintings to depict my living environment in various ways, thus expressing my feelings and emotions at that moment. When I realize that the same thing can show other states under different moods, every existence in this world has a life in my eyes.
